I have been in the beauty Industry for 17 years now and am passionate today as the day I started! 

Working  as a nurse for 23  years both here and overseas in the UK, until a back injury at work made me look at alternatives. Seeing the affects stress has on the body and that 80% of Dr visits can be attributed to stress… it was always my desire to run a day spa. Buying The Manor 2005 gave us the perfect opportunity to make that dream come true. CHANGES Medi-Spa was lovingly created and opened the doors in 2012. We were so thrilled to reach the New Zealand National finals of best new business in 2013.

Now re-trained in post grad advanced beauty therapy I can use all my skills I had as a nurse working in plastic surgery and in the regional burns unit.  I love to work with skin and more complex issues and mainly work in the appearance medicine wing at CHANGES. Extensively trained in IPL and with advanced training under my belt I have been treating the women of New Zealand for over 17 years. I am also trained in Medical Collagen Induction Therapy and hold certificates in Introduction to dermapen and also have completed my two day intensive advanced course with Dr Andrew Christie in August 2018 and the masterclass in 2019. I have also trained in Louise Walsh international plasma pen as an elite plasma pen technician. This has similar results to surgery so it’s very exciting to be able to offer this to our clients with problems with sagging jowls, eye bags, skin tightening, skin tags red veins and lumps and bumps – (once signed off from GP of course!)

With the introduction of two new state of the art medical grade machines in 2021 I now perform the Hollywood carbon laser and HIFU which lifts and firms the face as well as tightening up breasts and buttocks and removing unwanted adipose tissue.

I am also the pioneer behind our hero service at CHANGES- New Definition Brows® and aim to raise the standard of brow services in NZ and campaign to stop the practice of wax around the delicate eye area. I try to attend as many courses as I can on brows and has also completed the HDBROW training in the UK and has brought back all the latest ideas and brow trends! 

I have put together a really passionate friendly motivated team who really care about making people feel extra special and I am so intensely proud of how far we have come. Our mission is to help you find your sparkle again.

Sammie is in her 4th year with us and has come on such a long way since completing her Level 5 Diploma in Beauty Therapy and ITEC.
Sammie loves being a beauty therapist, her favourite treatments include manicures, pedicures, lash extensions and is our best most gentle waxer.
​​Sammie has attained Expert status in dermalogica. She has completed courses in dermablading and in the Hollywood carbon Laser . Now training in HIFU and IPL

You will just adore Sammie- she is so gentle and a bundle of brightness and will brighten up anyone’s day.

Jasmine is well known to the beauty industry as she has grown up in it! Her main passion however, is eyebrows.
She completed her Threading Diploma in the UK in 2014 and has her New Definition Brow® qualification. Jasmine also trains therapists all around New Zealand in the New Definition Brow® technique.
Jasmine Completed her Microblading training with Advanced Aesthetics International in September 2016 and her advanced brow course in July 2018 with international brow expert Suzie Macintosh! Although she specializes in NDBrows, Jasmine has also completed her beautician’s course in Wellington 2015.

She loves bringing out your natural beauty and is trained in brow lamination and LVL lashes too. She really is the best brow artiste in the industry!

Sara is in her 2nd year with us after qualifying with level 5 diploma

Sara is mature, caring and very meticulous with her work and has impressive knowledge base which are the qualities we love our girls to have. She loves massage and facials and enjoys working with the high quality products we use here, Juvenate Pure Fiji and dermalogica.

Her Hot stone massage is the best and has already built up an impressive case load of clients who love her gentle kind approach
